Turkana Kenya Missions Update September October 2024

About

Take Care of Others is a volunteer, registered 501(c)3 non-profit that was formed to help the poorest, most oppressed, desolate and lost people on earth. 100% of all donations go directly to the mission fields. We partner with and support true biblically sound Christian missionaries in the US, Africa, Asia and beyond.

TCOO exists to glorify God by support through our Child Sponsorship Program as well through one time and monthly donations. We support indigenous missionaries in the most impoverished, remote and least evangelized areas of the world.

Although we help every human being we possibly can, our calling is to help the poorest of the poor break out of the vicious chains of poverty, sickness, oppression, abuse and illiteracy that has plagued them for countless generations. Our goal in not just to feed them, but to educate them with the Word of God as the centerpiece of their existence and to turn their suffering into JOY.

Everyone at TCOO has a have a heart for the poor and needy around the world. Our focus is supporting indigenous ministries who Evangelize by planting fellowships as the centerpiece of our ministry where they work to help the impoverished not only with physical food but by making disciples and serving the “least of these” Matthew 25:40 .

Mission Statement

“Take Care of Others exists to glorify God by supporting and establishing Christ centered fellowships and indigenous missionaries to serve in the most remote and least evangelized areas of the world while having an emphasis on the welfare of children and orphans and widows.”

Although we help every human being we possibly can, our calling is to help children and downtrodden woman break out of the vicious chains of poverty, sickness, oppression, abuse and illiteracy that has plagued them for countless generations. Our goal in not just to feed them, but to educate them with the Word of God as the centerpiece of their existence. Making disciples is the call of Christ.

TCOO serves everyone and does not discriminate against any individual by reason of religion, age, disability, race, color, ethnicity, gender, national origin or socioeconomic status.

Governing Principles

We have set forth some simple, yet very important principals we stand by.

1. We have been working with our indigenous missionaries since 2013.

2. We oversee and work in partnership with the local fellowship we establish; we are not a supra-ecclesiastical body, but a partner with the local indigenous missionaries and the fellowships they plant.

3. Accountability is a great focus of ours as reports need to be filed and updates on a weekly and monthly basis are required for continued support. We also communicate with them on video calls often as well as online text on a daily basis in most cases.

4. TCOO will continue to direct the missionaries in a biblical fashion by providing online and when possible in person theological training.

5. Although children are dear to us and Jesus (Luke 18:16), we make sure the entire community is ministered to by our financial and spiritual support.

Take Care of Others will not work independently of the indigenous fellowships on the mission field or their leadership, but will work in partnership with them as a family. It is our goal to be a the very best partner with God’s Word as our foundation.

Founder

James Miller founded Take Care of Others along with his wife Michelle and dear friend Aaron in January 2025 after sponsoring children for years through other child sponsorship organizations as well an running one of his own since 2012. Facts came to light that these “Christian” organizations were paying their “executives” hundreds of thousands per year each and paying tens of millions for needless buildings, travel, etc.

Recognizing the incredible need to take care of the poor and the “least of these” (Matthew 25:32-46), and, the Great Commission (Matthew 28:16-20), James founded Take Care of Others. The fact is, 21,000 children and 9,000 adults, predominantly in the poorest regions of Africa and Asia die DAILY from man-made poverty and that should break all our hearts and convict us to ACTION. Join him today in combating these great atrocities.

Since his first ministry was founded in May 2012, 100% of all donations go directly to the impoverished mission fields. Help us Take Care of Others by SPONSORING A CHILD or DONATING ONE TIME or MONTHLY.

Accountability

100% to the “Least of These”

Since the 1st ministry began in May 2012, we have sent 100% percent and will continue to send every penny of all donations directly to the mission fields. No exceptions! In fact, the 3 board members labour in their respective jobs to give to TCOO.

One hundred percent of contributions are sent to the nations we serve and are the overseers are accountable for every “penny”. We have trusted the Lord to provide for our overhead costs too from our own labors.

At the same time, we do our part to keep these expenses very low. All website, computer, promotion, graphic and communication work is done by volunteers.

Simply stated, we have 100% accountability to our donors and to God.
